 Life Coaching- The Journey

When we are born we begin the journey and we continue on that journey until we are no longer here. It is like any other journey we make, we prepare ourselves mentally and physically. When we are children, we are taught the good life by our parents and we develop our character and create our well being by how we act, react or respond to the life things.  It is during the journey - we learn.

It depends upon how our knowledge has been instilled, as to how we react to our life experiences. We know that we gain an abundance of life experiences along the way and we need to believe that nothing in life is truly unbearable; only if we let it be. I know this is a tough subject as there are life things that sometimes catch us off guard and throw us for a loop and this is when we begin another journey…the journey to performance, again.

It is in our recovery on The Journey;  that we sometimes need assistance to perform comprehensively again. No, I am talking about being mentally disturbed or sick, but we are just not back to living life in the moment without thoughts that make us feel inadequate and make us less productive.

Number One: Mind over matter, conscious over non-conscious. No, there isn’t an easy way and in fact one has to make up their mind from today forward, I will see myself as I am, not as this experience has made me feel.  As a man thinks, so is he…we cannot think too much of ourselves but,  we can think more about who we are, as most of us usually do not. When we started the journey we were too young to know about some of life things but, you must know that you are a creation of good, you were meant to be happy, you deserve to have blessings and you are important to many people. Believe in yourself and remember that regardless of what has happened; it is probably not your fault and The Journey will get better.

Number Two: Admit your shortcomings and if it is your fault; admit it, take courage and move forward. Stop dwelling on the past; we are going forward we do not want to talk about the past; it is done, over and will not be repeated again.

Number Three: Speak to yourself with authority and self assurance. Give yourself some slack. ---- I am positive, I will have what I need to make the days ahead happier. I am good at my job, I am a good friend, a good mother, a good employee, and I am just good--- Do not listen to the negative voice, create a positive self language that will help you feel stronger to tackle your new life; whatever it is and know that from now on your journey will be brighter.

So many times in our life we get up to our necks in self pity…we have all done it…everybody does. Oh me….why me…. It does not matter what has happened or is happening; someone, somewhere has faced it before you probably. They made it out of the rain and they are better than they have ever been. It is not what we are experiencing; it is how we deal with it…Straighten you shoulder, walk like you just won a million dollars…who knows you might just do it!!!! Banish the negative and begin the positive on The Journey.
